Finally, a house in Denver...

So….it's now official (unless we freak out and decide to change our minds at the last minute) that Paul and I are buying a house in Southeast Denver. We close next Monday at noon, and get possession of the house at the end of the month.

At some point, there will be a housewarming for MGA'ers, so look for the invite (though no promises on when that might be. We dumped most of our furniture before moving here, so if we have you all over now you'd be sitting on the floor, at the dining room table, or on a futon).

While packing and moving is not (definitely not) fun, settling in is, and we're very excited. I'll send you photos when I have them so you can ooh and aah with me. And if anyone is just itching to lift and move boxes, drop me a line as I can use you on Thursday, September 25 (beer - or other tasty treats - may be offered as incentives).

Congratulations to you and Paul. What an exciting event - a new house! You dumped all your furniture, huh? That's not what most people do when they move since they need stuff to fill in the new spaces, but if it didn't work in the new place, it had to go. Plus, that means shopping for new items. Best of luck in your new place!
