LIVE EARTH - The concerts for a climate in crisis

MSN is sponsoring a world-wide concert called Live Earth. The event is supposed to bring together more than 2 billion people on 7/7/07 to raise awareness about global warming. Concerts are going to be held in the U.S., United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, South Africa, China, Japan, and Brazil and will last 24 hours. The global concerts are meant to "engage, connect, and inspire individuals, corporations and governments to take action to solve the climate crisis."

If you want to learn more about it, here's the link. My roommate is considering going to the one in London!

I wonder how much energy eight extremely large, 24-hour long concerts are going to consume... :)
